The culture of the academic community has nearly the same influence on (re)shaping a student as does the cultural environment in which the student was raised - the family.

The question which needs to be addressed is what type of influence is the CTU culture exerting onto future priests and lay parish ministers, the Church and ultimately, the person in the pew.

At CTU and within Progressive doctrine, there is an obvious dislike, and at times even hatred towards almost every aspect of the Roman Catholic Church, including the Magisterium, Scholastic theology, Traditions, doctrine, Church hierarchy and so on – in short, the goal at CTU is to ‘de-Romanize’ the Catholic Church.
