My objective
for attending CTU was to master a deeper and more
comprehensive understanding of our Catholic faith,
specifically as handed-down by the Magisterium of the Roman
Catholic Church.
The
purpose for this effort was two-fold: first, simply for
myself, I personally wanted this greater knowledge of
truth.
|
|
Second, I have known so
many people over the years that have left the Church simply through
ignorance of the Church. My hope was that I could assist these and
other like people, to understand and appreciate the Church above and
beyond it being perceived as an institution of obligation and
subjugation; to help them know and experience the Church with
reason, as well as with the Spirit. And to know that the Church
exists, first and foremost, to serve each individual in their
relationship with God and that through this relationship, society
will be served.
